Lesson 1 will introduce you to the basic positions of the feet and arms and how to hold them correctly. You will start learning the ballet terminology we are going to use during our classes; find out what alignment is in ballet; start ballet exercises facing the barre; and listen and understand the musical beat.
In Lesson 2, you will continue with some exercises facing the barre, adding elements with only one hand on the barre, and increasing the speed of movement.
In Lesson 3, we will continue adding new steps; building strength; and working on balance.
The majority of exercises in Lesson 4 will be done with one hand on the barre as you continue adding steps and improving your flexibility, strength, and stamina.
